Eligibility Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing, or Bachelor of Nursing Science from an accredited university
  
• Minimum B+ (77%) or equivalent in the last two years of full-time study, or last ten full academic credits
  
• Registered Nurse (in good standing) in the province of Ontario or active practicing license in any other Canadian province
  
• Registered Nurses without a baccalaureate degree, or with a baccalaureate degree in another discipline, are encouraged to apply for admission and will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  
• Applicants with practice experience and a lower admission average are encouraged to apply and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
  

• Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 93] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5]

• Letter(s) of Reference
• Resume/Curriculum Vitae
• Statement of Research Interests

All applicants, domestic and international, must submit the following documents to complete their application:

• Transcripts: Unofficial copies of all post-secondary transcripts
  
• 2 letters of reference: Academic references are preferred; however, professional references will be accepted. Reference forms will be emailed to the referees that you have appointed on OUAC
  
• Plan of Study/Personal Statement: 1-2 pages outlining your objectives in a graduate program. Any specific research interests, relevant experiences, and/or career aspirations can be included
  
• Detailed Resume or Curriculum Vitae
  
• Proof of Citizenship (ie. copy of passport or birth certificate)
